Playing An Early Position In Blackjack
People ask very general questions about blackjack (the game of 21). All they want is to win at blackjack, but the problem is they do not know the specific questions to ask. These are some questions relating to tournament play.

Players should consider the range of their opening bets to be from 30% to 60% maximum.

If players bet on the mid range, they are either forcing others to commit a mistake, or forcing them down the middle of the road. Early in the tournament of blackjack rash moves are exactly what one wants to try to take advantage of, so, in the beginning, do not commit any yourself.
With a bet of 150, it clearly shows the willingness of the player to catch later on in the game. It's a wait-and-see bet. This also allows players to counter a game of over-aggressive table style with the dealer's positive hand.
With a bet of 300 it means that the players are willing to forge ahead and let other players catch up later. It is more of gamble if the bets are larger, of course.
The player will be in a strong position by the time that they get the result of their first hands. And with that, they can also determine what kind of players they are up against. As the first bettor, plot your game strategy properly and make a bet that, hopefully, will leave the others playing catch-up.
